The picture of the mushrooms was the starting point, from outlining the image in illustrator to simplifying the shape for cutting.
I used my mums cricut (an at home plotter) to cut the shapes then I simply used a blanket stitch to connect the sides and filled them with cotton to create a 3D shape.
